- The Mapsco wizard will guide you step by step as you create a new session file.
- To get a list of available scales, right-click in the map window and, in the context window, select Topography.
- You can now enlarge or shrink the map image using the Zoom in and Zoom out options.
- The overview window shows you the zone covered by the map window at a smaller scale.
- The session window shows you the contents of your session. Right-click on the items it contains to see the options available.
- For more efficient consultation of database information, limit the visible mode to the databases, layers, and symbols that interest you.
- To consult information about a graphic item (point, text or line), select it with the selection arrow and double-click.
- To select a graphic item superimposed over another graphic item, click the former with the selection arrow, right-click, and select Next item.
- Use the right mouse button to get context menu options that are available at the location where you've clicked.
- You can now open several map windows in the same session.
- To add symbols to your personal database, right-click in the session window on Symbols and choose the option you wish.
